
MONDE CONDOS HAS LAUNCHED!

Monde Condos is amongst the East Bayfront development site. East Bayfront is one of the first new developments coming to the Toronto Waterfront. The 23 hectare site extends from Lower Jarvis Street East to Parliament Street, and from Lakeshore Boulevard to Lake Ontario. Great Gulf Homes will be the primary developer of the area. Monde is going to locate at 5 Lower Sherbourne Street. It anchored by a podium that will extend from Queens Quay to Lake Shore Boulevard, with frontage along Sherbourne Park.

Monde Condos is positioned at the north end of the site with an overall height of 120 metres and about 540,000 square feet of residential and commercial space, distributed between 2 elements: 1 tower rising to about 36-storeys beside the Gardiner and a 6-level podium extending south from under the tower to Queens Quay, that will feature a plant-covered roofs and lush stepped Gardens.
The south facing podium will support a number of uses, including residential, retail, daycare and potential office/employment and institutional space. Ultimately, the project is expected to deliver a $200 million private sector investment in the community. The tower is designed by world-renowned architect Moshe Safdie.

The area will be defined with a mix of public parks and open spaces, giving a welcoming, pedestrian friendly feel to the residential and commercial developments. East Bayfront will feature over 6,000 residential units, with enough commercial space to provide valuable employment opportunities for residents and the surrounding area.
