The Ravine Condos is a new development by Urban Capital and ALIT Developments located on 1213 York Mills Road in North York, Ontario on 5.6 hectares of land in a ravine setting by York Mills and the DVP.
This project will have five phases with construction in the north and south parcels. The north parcel of land is located along York Mills Road and Valley Woods Road. The south parcel of land is located about 700 metres south along Valley Woods Road.
The north side will have 5 buildings with heights ranging from 12 to 24 storeys. The rental building will be of 12 storeys with 140 units. The other four buildings will be residential condominiums with one having 14 storeys and the other three having 24 storeys and a combined total of over 1000 available units.
The south side will have 3 condominium towers 12, 22 and 24 storeys tall with about 554 units in total. It will also include a proposed 130 rental townhouses and stacked townhouses. For the taller towers in both the north and south parcels there will be about a 3 storey base podium.
The Ravine condos will have a proposed 2,222 available vehicle parking spaces for this new development of which 1,830 are for residents and 392 visitor spaces. Parking is proposed in the two or three levels of underground parking. There will be new streets and parks created within this construction project joining the north & south parcels together.
Each residential condominium will have its own proposed amenity space which may include a meeting room, party room, fitness facility and an indoor pool.
The first phase includes a 24 storey tower with a 12 storey podium with a total of 331 residential suites. All suites range in size from 455 to 948 square feet. There will be a selection of 1-bedroom units, 1-bedroom + den units and 2-bedroom units. Most of the 1-bedroom + den suites will have two full bathrooms. Ceiling heights will be from 9 feet.
